Our guest is Whitney Stohr, a mother to a son with disabilities and an advocate for disability rights. Whitney will talk about the common experience of caregiving, including the following topics:

how to educate yourself and approach advocacy as a leader

More about Whitney
Whitney is the parent to two children, one of whom lives with several disabilities. She has a law degree and puts that to work through advocacy work. She regularly consults with academic and healthcare institutions, state and national agencies, and charitable organizations to offer insight and inform public policy, programs, and services benefiting a wide range of children, families, and the larger community, both locally and nationally.
She is also the President and Founder of Kids Rise Fund, a nonprofit organization that seeks to strengthen communities and support diverse kids and families.
